Looking Back on 2025. A Year of Growth, Purpose, and Impact

As we reflect on 2025, it has been a year shaped by meaningful conversations, hands on learning, and a shared commitment to supporting people to live well. Throughout the year, our team spent time listening, learning, and working alongside clinicians, whānau, partners, and equipment users, all with the same goal in mind, enabling greater independence and participation in everyday life.

From education events and disability expos to product launches, store openings, and team celebrations, each month brought new opportunities to connect with our community across Aotearoa and beyond. One of the biggest milestones for us was opening our first Livewell store in Auckland, a space created to make it easier for people to explore daily living and mobility solutions in a welcoming, supportive environment. Whether we were on the road meeting people face to face, supporting clinical education, or celebrating milestones together, 2025 reinforced the importance of relationships, collaboration, and practical solutions that make a real difference.

February

Coming Together as a Team
The year gained momentum early with a company meeting combined with a friendly lawn bowls day. A real highlight was hearing from an inspiring Paralympian guest speaker, whose story reinforced the power of resilience, inclusion, and believing in what is possible. It set a positive tone for the year ahead.

March

Show Your Ability Expos
March saw us head to Hamilton and Palmerston North for the Show Your Ability Disability Equipment Expos. These events gave us the chance to connect directly with clinicians, whānau, and equipment users, showcasing solutions designed to support independence and participation. It was encouraging to see strong engagement and thoughtful conversations around mobility and seating.

May

PAWS Launch
In May, we were excited to introduce PAWS by Rehasense, a power assisted wheelchair system designed to help users go further and do more. The launch highlighted the versatility of the PAWS range, from city friendly options to more rugged solutions, and reinforced our focus on practical innovation that supports everyday life.

August

ATSNZ Disability Expos
August took us to Auckland and Christchurch for the ATSNZ Disability Expos. These events are always a highlight, bringing together the disability sector to share knowledge, products, and real world experiences. Our team enjoyed demonstrating a wide range of mobility and seating solutions and spending time answering questions from attendees across both cities.

September

Livewell Store Opening
September marked an exciting milestone with the opening of our first Livewell store in Albany, Auckland. Designed as a welcoming space to explore daily living and mobility solutions, the store reflects our commitment to supporting people beyond clinical settings. It was fantastic to celebrate this achievement with our community and partners.

October

BeMe Family Updates
October was a month of both innovation and impact. We shared updates to the Leckey BeMe Family, highlighting its flexible seating options designed to grow with each child and support individual needs.

November

Oceania Seating Symposium
November was a major highlight in our 2025 calendar with the return of the Oceania Seating Symposium in Rotorua. This event only happens every four years, which made it especially significant for our team. With a Gone Fishing theme, and the Outback 4x4 featured at the event, it created a memorable setting for focused learning and connection.

The Outback 4x4 quickly became a focal point at our stand. With its powerful performance and ability to tackle rugged terrain, it gives users the chance to navigate environments where standard powerchairs can struggle. It has become a popular choice for ACC clients needing a reliable option for farms, lifestyle blocks, or everyday outdoor adventures. Our team loved showing how it supports people to get out, enjoy nature, and experience more of what New Zealand has to offer, which aligned perfectly with our theme and sparked plenty of great conversations with attendees.

December

Ending the Year on a High
We wrapped up the year with a festive Christmas celebration at Snow Planet. Sharing time together in a fun and relaxed setting was the perfect way to close out a busy and rewarding year.

THANK YOU

To everyone who joined us at events, collaborated with our team, or supported our journey throughout 2025, thank you. We are proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to continuing this work in 2026, with the same focus on people, possibility, and living well.
