How much does shipping cost?
For retail purchases (anyone purchasing for themselves or a loved one) there is a flat rate of $9 within New Zealand and $30 within Australia.
For wholesale and funded purchases shipping rates can vary. Please call 0800 31 61 81 to chat with one of our team who will be able to advise shipping costs for you.

What is Allied Medical's return and exchange policy?
Here at Allied Medical, we want you to be 110% happy with anything that you purchase from us and will happily take back a product within 14 days of you receiving the item, provided the item is still in as-new condition, is in its original packaging and you've got proof of purchase (see below for exclusions). We will happily exchange the item or provide a refund for the cost of the item, excluding shipping.
Please note, however, we do not take back any Special Order items unless the product is faulty or arrives damaged. Special Order items are products ordered in especially for you and are not part of our standard range. When you purchase an item our customer care team will advise you if the item is a Special Order product.
Please note, for health and safety purposes, we also cannot accept returns for any fabric or bathroom products that have been removed from their packaging or used.

Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive and email with a tracking number from the courier company delivering your order. You can use this to track your order.

No, we do not offer rental wheelchairs, however, many of our stockist do – click here to find your nearest stockist. We do, however, have a range of low-cost products if purchasing a wheelchair is an option. Many rental wheelchairs have a minimum period so it can pay to calculate the total cost and compare to purchasing equipment especially if you are likely to need the wheelchair again in the future. Over time, the cost per use of purchased equipment is often lower than renting, making ownership a more economical choice. You can also on-sell wheelchairs through websites such as Trade Me if you do find it is no longer needed. A large range of stockists as well as the Disability Resource Centres around New Zealand have selected items on display. Knowledgeable staff onsite can assist you and they can also order products on your behalf.
